Scott Canham ensured Viv Busby's first game in temporary charge of York ended in a disappointing defeat.

Canham scored 18 minutes from time, turning home Justin Richards' cross from the right to seal the points.

York were unfortunate, with Andy Bishop forcing Adriano Basso into a good save after 30 minutes, the Brazilian then making a brilliant stop from Lee Nogan.

Richards also tested York keeper David Stockdale and Amos Foyewa was also off target before Canham struck.
