Shrewsbury were comfortable winners against bottom of the table Northwich.
The home side dominated and took the lead after 39 minutes when Colin Cramb slammed home. After 63 minutes Ryan Lowe doubled the lead.
Eight minutes later Darren Tinson pounced to put the result beyond doubt.
Northwich were largely restricted to long range efforts but grabbed a consolation goal through Peter Wright on 77 minutes.
