Yeovil's promotion ambition were dealy a minor setback as they were held to a goalless draw by Barnet at Huish Park.

Gary Johnson's home side dominated throughout but were left to rue good goalkeeping and poor finishing as they recorded their second goalless stalemate of the season.

Barnet keeper Danny Naisbitt had a busy opening period and had to be alert to keep out Terry Skiverton's header from Lee Johnson's second-minute corner.

Town midfielder Johnson then tamely fired over a minute later before team-mate Kirk Jackson headed Michael McIndoe's cross just wide.

Barnet started the livelier after the interval with Junior Agogo forcing two saves in a minute from otherwise redundant Glovers keeper Chris Weale.

But midfielder Darren Way responded for Yeovil with a right-foot shot from 18 yards which went just over and then he screwed the ball just past the post after 55 minutes.

The hosts piled forward in the closing stages but could not break through the stubborn Bees backline despite the late dismissal of Naisbitt after he brought down substitute Andy Lindegaard.
