Woking 2-1 Nuneaton

Nuneaton goalkeeper Chris MacKenzie's dismissal for a professional foul on Raphael Nade turned the match on its head as Woking fought back for a win at Kingfield.

Nuneaton held onto a 1-0 lead until four minutes from time before two late goals clinched victory for Woking.

Nuneaton took the lead after 20 minutes when Mark Quayle got in close to meet a Michael Love cross and knock the ball home.

Woking suffered another blow just before the interval when they had goalkeeper Shwan Jalal carried off injured.

Three minutes after the restart, MacKenzie received his marching orders after bringing down Nade.

Steve Hodgson, Nuneaton's substitute goalkeeper, was immediately sent on in place of Daniel Williams.

Woking took a long time to make their numerical advantage tell and Neil Smith, Nade and Ben Abbey all squandered chances.

Just when it looked like 10-man Nuneaton would hang on for the points, the home side drew level.

But they needed an own goal to do so as Adam Cooper put the ball into his own net from close range.

And in the last minute, Woking claimed all three points when Warren Patmore headed home a Jon Coates cross.

Woking: Jalal, Austin, Simpemba, Boardman, Coates, Neil Smith, Hamilton, Kember, Sharpling, Nade, Patmore. Subs: Farrelly, Piper, Scott Smith, Banger, Abbey.

Nuneaton: MacKenzie, Thackeray, Cooper, Barry Williams, Love, Ducros, Lavery, Ricketts, Lenton, Daniel Williams, Quayle. Subs: Hodgson, McGregor, Turner, Olanipekun, Tullin.

Referee: K Stroud (Dorset)
