Scarborough 2-1 Yeovil

Striker Bimbo Fatokun was the hero for Scarborough as he stepped off the bench to grab the winner against leaders Yeovil.

The Glovers slumped to their first Conference defeat in 18 matches as the home side proved too strong.

Yeovil were forced to make two changes to their line-up with defensive duo Terry Skiverton and Colin Pluck out through suspension.

New signing Jimmy Aggrey and Roy O'Brien came in.

After Kirk Jackson had headed over in the second minute for the Glovers and Jason Blunt fired wide for Scarborough, it was unlucky O'Brien who opened the scoring.

He turned the ball past his own goalkeeper from six yards to put Boro ahead.

Gary Johnson's men hit back as half-time approached.

Nick Crittenden and Darren Way tested Andy Woods from distance but the Boro goalkeeper could do little to keep out Abdelhalim Elkholti's equaliser.

The striker scored his second goal in two games with a rasping drive into the top corner of the net after 41 minutes.

Fatokun went on in the 64th minute and six minutes later sealed victory.

Gareth Stoker's pinpoint cross from the right was powered home by the super sub for his sixth goal of the season.

Scarborough: Woods, Holdsworth, Sheppherd, Hotte, Blunt, Stoker, Jordan, Ormerod, Mallon, Scott, Campbell. Subs: Dryden, Walker, Fatokun, Pounder, Brassart.

Yeovil: Weale, Lockwood, Aggrey, O'Brien, Crittenden, Way, Williams, Johnson, McIndoe, Jackson, Elkholti. Subs: Demba, Giles, Lindegaard, Grant, Collis.

Referee: M Matadar (Blackburn).
