Conference leaders Yeovil dominated against Doncaster but could not find the killer instinct in a draw watched by their biggest home crowd of the season.

There were 6,674 supporters in the ground and the kick-off had to be delayed by 15 minutes.

Doncaster were quickest out of the blocks and took a second-minute lead when Danny Hudson, making his Rovers debut after joining on loan from Rotherham, fired in a right-foot shot which flew past Jon Sheffield.

Adam Lockwood had a golden opportunity to equalise in the seventh minute but sent his header over the crossbar.

Andy Lindegaard then forced a good save from Andy Warrington before Yeovil's pressure told and Gavin Williams hit a deserved equaliser with a superb effort from 25 yards.

Yeovil continued to dominate and Darren Way pulled a 30-yard shot narrowly wide on the half-hour mark.

Jamie Paterson stepped off the bench to inject some life into Doncaster and almost forced a winner with a superb effort from 20 yards, but Sheffield produced a stunning save.

Carl Alford's scrambled shot two minutes from time almost earned Yeovil three points, but impressive Warrington turned his shot around the post.
