Doncaster 0-0 Stevenage
Doncaster kept their unbeaten home record intact with a goalless draw against Nationwide Conference rivals Stevenage at Belle Vue. But they were left to rue a number of missed opportunities to win the game. The match started at a frenetic pace and Stevenage threatened with a Kirk Jackson header before Doncaster's Justin Jackson responded with a fierce strike which just cleared the crossbar. Stevenage looked dangerous on the break and Matt Fisher drilled a shot narrowly wide soon after - but it was the hosts who took control at the start of the second half. Andy Watson forced a fine save from Mark Westhead in the 47th minute before the inventive Jackson volleyed just wide from 18 yards. But Doncaster were unable to raise their game in the latter stages and their opponents deservedly held on for a point.
