Yeovil 2-0 Farnborough
Yeovil made it four wins in succession despite having a player dismissed at Huish Park against Farnborough. The hosts had a goal disallowed after nine minutes when Howard Forinton was deemed to be offside when heading the ball home. Farnborough, who defeated Dagenham & Redbridge at the weekend, made a change after 27 minutes when the injured Tim O'Shea was replaced by Steve Watson. But chances were few and far between during the opening period. However, Yeovil struck just five minutes after the restart when substitute Abdoulai Demba, on for Forinton, slotted the ball home from six yards after good work from Nick Crittenden. Demba provided the assist for Lee Johnson to make it two with 20 minutes left. Michael McIndoe's dismissal for a second bookable offence soured the win somewhat but boss Gary Johnson will still be delighted with another three points. Yeovil: Weale, Lockwood, Skiverton, Pluck, Crittenden, Way, Johnson, McIndoe, Williams, Grant, Forinton. Subs: Alford, Sheffield, O'Brien, Lindegaard, Demba. Farnborough: Pennock, Warner, O'Shea, Rodwell, Taggart, Lenny Piper, Chris Piper, Butterworth, Holloway, Charlery, Annon. Subs: Watson, Lee, Osborn, Carroll, Griffiths. Referee: R Lee (Brentwood).
