Hereford 1-2 Morecambe
Wayne Curtis' first-half double proved to be enough for 10-man Morecambe as they managed to hold on for a win at Hereford. Curtis had put the visitors ahead in the 17th minute after good work from Gary Thompson, and doubled his tally with a sweetly-struck second after 41 minutes. David McKearney was sent off for his second bookable offence two minutes later, to set up a tense second 45 minutes. The omens did not look good for Jim Harvey's side when Jamie Pitman brought the Bulls back into the game with a goal shortly after the restart, but they held out to take the points.
