Boston duo called up
Simon Weatherstone of Boston
Weatherstone will feel at home on Wednesday
Two players from Nationwide Conference champions Boston United have been given late call-ups to England's National Game squad for the UniBond Four Nations Tournament.

Boston's squad members had originally been overlooked by England coach John Owens as he stuck to the players who had been involved in this season's warm-up games.

But Pilgrims midfield men Simon Weatherstone and Mark Angel have now been added to the party.

England launch their bid for victory in the home international series against the Welsh semi-professional side at Boston's York Street ground on Wednesday.

The Yeovil pair of Terry Skiverton and Anthony Tonkin have withdrawn because of injuries sustained in Sunday's Umbro FA Trophy final win.

That allowed the former Oxford United pair of Angel and Weatherstone, who spent a period on trial at Bolton earlier this season, to join Owens' squad, along with Yeovil¿s Adam Lockwood and James Taylor of Havant and Waterlooville.

Thursday 16th May: England v Rep. of Ireland (Boston Utd), Scotland v Wales (Kettering Town).
