Dover 1-1 Morecambe
A 70th-minute penalty from Ian Arnold earned Morecambe a draw against Dover. The hosts, already relegated, showed plenty of spirit and enjoyed the majority of possession in an entertaining encounter at The Crabble. However, they were made to pay for wasting a number of chances to make the game safe after Kevin Seabury had given them a deserved lead. The tone was set early on when Leon Kelly fired a volley wide and Tommy Tyne somehow failed to hit the target when he found the ball at his feet six yards from goal. But Seabury broke the deadlock nine minutes after the break with a stunning low drive from 30 yards that nestled in the bottom right-hand corner of the net. Arnold levelled, though, 20 minutes from time when slotting home from the spot following Jake Leberi's clumsy challenge.
Dover: Hyde, Carruthers, Norman, Leberl, Shearer, Seabury, Ramsay, Le Bihan, James, Tyne, Kelly. Subs: Day, Smith, Bathgate, Simon Glover, Cloke. Morecambe: Mawson, Ubershar, Colkin, McKearney, Murphy, Rigoglioso, Drummond, Gouck, Arnold, Norman, Black. Subs: Carlton, Curtis, Perkins, Robinson, Willcock. Referee: F Graham (Stanford-le-Hope).
