Kingstonian 3-4 Yeovil
Warren Patmore grabbed a dramatic late winner for title-challengers Yeovil as they won an enthralling game against relegation-threatened Kingstonian.

Yeovil's Marcus Jones set the tone for the afternoon, as he had the ball in the Kingstonian net after only five minutes, but the linesman had already flagged for offside.

Kingstonian took a shock lead when Gavin Holligan drove a loose ball past an unsighted Chris Weale on 22 minutes.

Yeovil nearly equalised on 28 minutes when Howard Forinton crossed from the right and Nick Crittenden bundled the ball wide from close-range.

Kingstonian goalkeeper Jimmy Glass was in inspired form, denying Terry Skiverton with a superb save just before the interval, in what turned out to be the last action of a breathtaking first-half.

Yeovil equalised six minutes into the second-half when Forinton forced the ball home from close-range after a Patmore header had come back off the underside of the crossbar.

Their lead lasted only three minutes however, as Kingstonian regained the lead when Derek Allan headed powerfully home from a Ronnie Green cross.

Forinton had a header cleared off the line after 59 minutes and the woodwork rescued Kingstonian again as Darren Way headed against the crossbar.

Following this period of intense pressure, the visitors finally equalised when substitute Dave Piper's right-wing cross was met by Patmore's diving header.

The goals kept coming, and Kingstonian were back in front again seven minutes later when Green headed home a left-wing Akuamoah cross.

However, Akuamoah went from hero to villain, as his next significant touch was to head Michael McIndoe's 82nd-minute corner into his own net.

And Yeovil had the very last word when Barrington Belgrave fed the ball into Patmore's path and the striker fired home from 12-yards to clinch the points in the last of five minutes of stoppage time.
