Arsenal are without defender Igor Stepanovs for their Group D Uefa Champions League game against Juventus, so Oleg Luzhny comes in to partner Sol Campbell at the heart of the Arsenal defence.

With Dennis Bergkamp remaining in London, the Nigerian international Kanu joins Thierry Henry in the Arsenal attack.

Juventus are without Gianluigi Buffon, Lilian Thuram, Alessandro del Piero, Pavel Nedved, Marcelo Salas and David Trezeguet.
