Clockwatch: B Munich 2-1 R Madrid
The latest score and action from Germany
All the action from Germany as Bayern Munich booked their Champions League final place with a 2-1 win over Real Madrid in Germany.

Iker Cassilas immediately saves Real from going two behind on aggregate, pushing aside a Mehmet Scholl shot in the first minute.

Another fine save from the Real keeper as Elber's shot is palmed away by the Spaniard.

Real's first meaningful attack - Samuel Kuffour clears after Raul's low cross.

Corner to Bayern and Jens Jeremies initial effort comes back off the bar. In a scramble Giovane Elber is swiftest to the rebound and there is nothing Real can do to stop his header hitting the back of the net.
B Munich 1-0 R Madrid (agg 2-0)

An accurate ball over the top finds Raul deep inside the Bayern penalty area. The Spaniard cuts the ball back to Luis Figo who passes the ball powerfully into the net past Oliver Kahn.
B Munich 1-1 R Madrid (agg 2-1)

Late high challenge from Jeremies on Roberto Carlos, from which the German appears to have escaped a booking.

From the next attack Real win a free kick on the edge of the area. Roberto Carlos stands over the ball, but fires into the wall.

Real look to have overcome their early setback and look the better side - Raul fires over after a dangerous attack and a cut-back from Guti.

Hasan Salihamidzic is brought down by Ivan Helguera but Scholl's free kick from the edge of the D is well clear of Cassilas' goal.

Karanka concedes a silly free kick which is played into the edge of the area, where Jens Jeremies fires sweetly home into Cassilas' bottom right-hand corner.
B Munich 2-1 R Madrid (agg 3-1)

Figo wins a free kick after Bixente Lizarazu's challenge at the edge of the area. Roberto Carlos finds the wall again.

Real keep the pressure up and win a corner but Fernando Hierro's header from Figo's kick is too high.

Real probe away but Steve McManaman is caught offside after Guti's ball to the right wing.

A minute of injury time starts with Scholl winning a free kick after a small amount of contact from Hierro but nothing comes from the kick and the half time whistle soon follows.

Second half: The second period begins with confirmation that Jeremies was booked in the first half.

Real on the attack: Claude Makelele runs powerfully until the edge of the area where he goes down under slight pressure - referee Kim Milton Nielsen waves play on.

The shape, perhaps, of things to come: a Real attack breaks down and they are caught on the break but Salihamidzic shoots weakly at the keeper.

A first substitution - Mehmet Scholl, whose appearance in the final is threatened by another yellow card and also an injury - is replaced by Santa Cruz.

Real make a change with Savio coming on for McManaman to increase the Brazilian contingent and leave Hargreaves as the sole Englishman - the crowd are singing the young midfielder's name.

Hargreaves takes a corner when Hierro makes a hash of a clearance, but Cassilas saves Linke's powerful header at the far post. The second corner from the Englishman is punched away by the young Spanish keeper.

Real still look capable but Bayern are defending well. Fernando Morientes comes on as another striker in place of centre half Karanka.

Savio's cross is flicked on by Raul but away from Morientes.

A second change from Bayern with Jeremies - another with fitness and disciplinary doubts - replaced by Swiss star Ciriaco Sforza.

Savio delivers another good cross but Morientes' header is a poor effort.

Two bookings: Sforza and Guti are the guilty men after the Swiss fouled and the Spaniard reacted.

Makelele wastes possession but Elber's cross cannot find Salihamidzic's head.

Real, with Savio particularly lively down the right, threaten constantly but cannot find a final ball.

Elber almost takes advantage on the break but his shot from 25 yards hits the side netting.

Elber, and then Santa Cruz, miss glorious chances to wrap it up as Real get back into their area to save the day.

Kahn snatches a Morientes header out of the area but the striker was offside anyway from Figo's right wing cross.

Alexander Zickler is the substitute for Elber, scorer of two of Bayern's three goals in the tie.

Hargreaves is the star of the show. The Englishman, who played for the under-21s at St Andrews last month, gets a standing ovation before a corner.

Figo forces a good save from Kahn but it would not have counted after the referee blew the whistle.

One minute to go and only two goals in injury time, as in the 1999 final, can stop the German side.

There will be four minutes of injury time.

It is Bayern who are controlling the ball - Real appear to have nothing more to offer.

Free kick to the Spanish side on the halfway line. Nothing comes of it.

Final minute and one last Figo cross but it is cleared.

Seconds to go and Lizarazu denies Figo - not for the first time. The whistle blows and Bayern are back in the final.
