South Africa 3-1 Morocco (Segou)(in BOLD) 90 mins: GOAL Burkina Faso 1-2 GhanaBoakwe rifles in after awful defending from the Burkinabese to send the Black Stars into ecstacy. 89 mins: GOAL Burkina Faso 1-1 Ghana Burkina fail to clear from a dangerous cross and Boakwe fires home. 84 mins: the Moroccans are constantly sending in crosses inside the South African box, but keeper Vonk always shows his presence to collect the ball. 83 mins: Rachid Rokki consolidates the Moroccan attack by going in for Bassir.
81 mins: GOAL: Burkina Faso 1-0 Ghana 80 mins: Toure blasts a free kick into the Ghana wall, but when it comes back to him he is fouled and Burkina Faso's next kick is in a much more promising position. 78 mins: Free kick to South Africa after Nomvete is fouled. Benni McCarthy takes the kick and has a good effort from 25 yards, but it is just past the goal. 75 mins: GOAL - South Africa 3-1 Morocco. Penalty to Morocco as Ghandour rules that Zuma fouled Adil Ramzi. Benmahmoud steps up for the kick and scores sending Vonk the wrong way. 75 mins: Amoako sums up Ghana's match so far, lazily shooting torwards and turning his back almost before he sees it drift wide. 70 mins: Hadda again breaks through and has only the keeper Vonk to beat, but with Bassir on his right and Zerouali to his left, he takes it on himself but has a nightmare as Vonk diverts the shot wide. 69 mins: Morocco's Abdeljalil Hadda comes on as a sub and almost scores, but his shot deflects off a defender. 67 mins: Nomvete almost scores his second goal but the striker watches as his header bounces away over the line for a goal kick despite a challenge from Benzekri. 65 mins: Zuma is fouled in the centre as the Lions show their desperation for a goal; Zuma is stretchered off the pitch. 62 mins: Corner to South Africa as Nomvete uses his speed to create another panic moment for the Moroccans, but the Atlas Lions clear the corner. There were several South African heads going for the ball but they were beaten to it. 61 mins: Carnell is fouled as he denies a swift Moroccan build-up. 62 mins: Ibrahim shoots over from some really promising Ghanaian build-up play. 59 min: Nomvete goes on the attack again, but cannot go past Fahmi. Instead he lays it off for Mnguni who blasts a powerful shot at goal, but Benzekri pushes the ball behind for a corner. 57 mins: Ghana keeper Sammy Adjei cops a slight injury and play is held up as he receives medical treatment. 54 mins: Amoako shoots from distance but sees it go wide. 51 mins: Hadda replaces Boukhari for Morocco. 50 mins: GOAL - South Africa 3-0 Morocco Nomvete gets the goal his contribution has deserved, being set up by Benny McCarthy on the right and firing the ball into the top of the net from less than six yards out. 49 mins: Safri is yellow-carded for trying to take Nomvete's ankle off his foot. 47 mins: Burkinabes bring on Wilfried Sanou in place of Narcisse Yameogo. 47 mins: GOAL - South Africa 2-0 Morocco Nomvete steals the ball from the dawdling Morocco defence, bursts down the left and crosses for Thabo Mngomeni, who can't miss. 46 mins: Ghana make a double change and bring on Amoako Koranteng and Pantsil John for Emmanuel Duah and George Blay. Then, the Ghanaians re-start the second half.
Half time: South Africa 1-0 Morocco; B Faso 0-0 Ghana Half time (Mopti): Burkina Faso have looked the more urgent side, knowing that if they don't win they are definately out. Ghana seem more laid back in their approach and as things stand this could be their undoing. Half-time (Segou): Morocco started the match well, but it is South Africa who were rewarded with a goal thanks to the substitute Nomvete who was crafty enough to take on the tough Moroccan defenders. The three-quarters-full stadium is yet to see real brilliance though. 45 mins: Morocco push all their men forward, Fahmi playing a cross from the centre. He finds the head of Bassir but the ball goes past the post for a goal kick. 44 mins: Benzekri has to come forward to clear the defence as South Africa continue their onslaught. 42 mins: Ghanaian defender Kofi Amponsah brings down Burkinabe striker Allasane Ouedraogo on the left side close to his vital area. The cross comes in and Dagano heads the ball just marginally wide. 41 mins: Burkinabes have the stronger edge in the past five minutes as the Ghanaians struggle in the game. 41mins: GOAL - South Africa 1-0 Morocco. Sibusiso Zuma scores South Africa's first of the tournament from close range. It comes from Nomvete's run and brilliant cross, which McCarthy volleys with great skill towards the Moroccan goal. It is blocked, but Zuma blasts it back in. Noureddine Naybet tries to clear off the line but fails to get a foot fully on it. 40 mins: Safri blasts a 40 yard drive rather ambitiously but it went wide. 39 mins: Burkinabes bring on Allasane Ouedraogo in place of captain Oumar Barro. 38 mins: Morocco freekick from just outside the Bafana box dips inside the penalty area, but Issa kicks it out to a corner. Morocco wasted the corner as it flies passed the goal. 37 mins: Narcisse Yameogo shoots from 25 metres for Burkina Faso but the ball flies just wide off the Ghanaian goal. The Burkinabes are shooting with tremendous power and potency but the ball is missing the target. 32 mins: Ghana's Ibrahim Abdul Razak excites the crowd with some dribbles and takes it into the Burkinabe half but the Ghanaian forwards fail to utilise the chance. 30 mins: Mnguni has a very weak shot, easily saved - it was more of backpass. 29 mins: Bassir breaks down the left and looks like he must score - but a South African defender stands in his way. Bassir cuts inside and Tinkler clears away. 29 mins: South Africa make their first change. Buckley goes out and Nomvete comes on. 26 mins: Morocco's throw on the centre line is controlled by Youssef Safri. Safri is fouled by Mnguni just around the centre circle. The ball goes down to the South African area again picked up by Zuma and he is also fouled. 25 mins: Burkina Faso wins a freekick from 25 metres but keeper Adjei holds the grounder firmly. 24 mins: Delron Buckley collects a long ball and volleys from 25 yards, but it goes well over the cross bar. 22 mins: Boukhari is posing a lot of threat to the South Africans. He uses his long legs to beat Carnell on the right, crosses into the box, but there is no Atlas Lion to finish. 21 mins: Pierre Issa returns into the pitch after he was taken out for treatment when he clashed with Zerouali. 20 mins: The game swings from end to end as both sides make an attack and attempt to score. Fantastic atmosphere on the terraces with colour and noise as fans of both sides occupy a section of the stadium not filled to capacity. 19 mins: Morocco creates the first clear chance of the match when Boukhari curls a shot for the far angle of the post. South African keeper Johannes Vonk parries it away, and the Bafana Bafana are still breathing. 19 mins: Burkina's Dagano fires the ball wide even after being ruled offside. He receives a warning from the referee. 18 mins: Ishamel Addo shoots from the right side but over the bar at the Burkina goal. He is disappointed for missing the game's best chance. 18 mins: Throw for Bafana Bafana goes to Issa, who spots McCarthy on the left, but he cannot beat Fahmi and there is a tussle before Morocco get a throw in. 17 mins: South African corner cleared away by Boukhari by the near post. 16 mins: Bassir fouls Carnell on the touchline as the South African rises for a header. 15 mins: Youssef Chippo is taken off after a collision in midfield. 14 mins: Burkina's Moumumouni Dagano shields the ball well in the Ghanaian box but shoots over the bar. 13 mins: South Africa try going forward but this time the Moroccans repel them and the Bafana Bafana will start again from their half 12 mins: Ghana keeper Sammy Adjei comes out to safely clutch a Burkian faso free-kick. 11 mins: Bradley Carnell sends a cross inside the Moroccan box, but it finds no-one. There is a lot of midfield action now and most of the ball is being controlled by the Moroccans 10 mins: Mohammed Tall hacks down a Ghanaian player but Ghana could not make good use of the free kick 9 mins: Ramzi squares a one-two with Bassir close to the edge of the box a few yards off the corner flag. Bassir is charged upon and Morocco win a throw. Chippo collects the ball and fires wide from a narrow angle. 8 mins: South Africa pile on the pressure with Mnguni almost setting himself free on the left side of attack, but finding himself tightly marked. 7 mins: Amadou Toure of Burkina Faso drills a shot from 25 metres but it goes just wide of the Ghanaian post. 6 mins: South Africa win a free kick close to the corner flag, taken by Subisiso Zuma. He puts it into the box nicely, but it is headed away by the Moroccans. 5 mins: Burkina keeper Mohammed Kabore holds the ball well as Ghana's Emmanuel Kuffour fires from outside the box. 5 mins: first corner to Morocco taken by Adil Ramzi. The kick was poorly taken and cleared away by the South Africans. 4 mins: Chippo is fouled right in the centre of the pitch as he controls well and turns to beat his marker 3 mins: Referee Ghandour calls for a foul as Benni McCarthy heads with what had looked like South Africa's first scoring chance. 2 mins: Ghana clear a dangerous ball from their penalty area as Burkinabes attack. 2 mins: both sides start at a calm tempo. Morocco start to make the initiative when Chippo squares for Salaheddine Bassir, but Bassier cannot reach the pass. 1 min: B Faso kicks off in Mopti, after a minute's silence for the Nigeria explosion tragedy. 1 min: South Africa kick off in Segou.
