Suffo moves to Spain
Patrick Suffo headbutts his way out of Bramall Lane
Suffo (l) is unlikely to return to Sheffield
Cameroon's Patrick Suffo has moved on loan to Spanish club Numancia from Sheffield United until the end of the season.

Sheffield United's manager Neil Warnock said Suffo would never play for the club again after his role in the notorious "Battle of Bramall Lane".

Suffo was sent off for headbutting a West Bromwich Albion player in a game that had to be abandoned due to lack of players on one team - the first time that had happened in the professional game in England.

But his prospects improved after scoring Cameroon's equaliser against Argentina in a friendly late last month.

The move to Numancia is with a view to a permanent switch, if Suffo can establish himself at the Spanish Division One side.

He had not scored for Sheffield United since December.
