Ghana star Prince Tagoe has joined Serbian champions Patrizan Belgrade on loan until the end of the season.

The striker has moved from Hoffenheim in Germany after playing only 12 games for the Bundesliga side since he signed for them in 2009.

Partizan have an option to make the move permanent when Tagoe's six-month loan deal comes to an end.

"The main reason I joined Partizan is because I need regular first team football," Tagoe said.

"I believe this is a step forward in my career, I heard a lot of good things about Partizan and I will be completely focused on winning trophies with the club."

Tagoe has scored four goals in 22 appearances for his national side and featured for the Black Stars at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Another Ghanaian striker who could be on his way to Partizan is Dominic Adiyiah of AC Milan.

The young star, who was the top scorer at the Under-20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009, which Ghana won, has been on loan at Reggina, but Partizan are keen on him joining up with his compatriot Tagoe in Serbia.
