TP Mazembe will play Asian Champions Pohang Steelers at the Club World Cup

African Champions League winners TP Mazembe of the DR Congo will play Asian champions Pohang Steelers of South Korea at the Club World Cup.

The two sides will clash in Abu Dhabi on 11 December with the winners going onto play South American champions Estudiantes of Argentina in the semis.

Mazembe and Pohang won their respective continental titles last weekend.

The Congolese side beat Nigeria's Heartland on the away goals rule after the final ended 2-2 on aggregate.

In the other half of the draw local United Arab Emirates champions Al Ahly will play Oceania champions Auckland City of New Zealand.

The winner of that match will then play Atlante of Mexico, who are the North and Central American champions, for the right to face European champions Barcelona of Spain in the semi-finals.

The final of the tournament will be played on 19 December.
