The final round of 2010 qualifying is about to begin
It's the start of the final round of qualifiers for the World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations in 2010.
Twenty countries still hope to make it to the finals in South Africa and Angola next year.
What are your hopes, expectations, fears and predictions?

Nigeria - please make sure you take things seriously and qualify for SA 2010 because the World Cup will not be the same without you.
Nikhil Bharadwaj, India
I think it will be very close but I fancy Ghana, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Nigeria to go through. However, Cameroon and Nigeria should be careful because Cameroon has to face an improving Moroccan side and Nigeria will have to take on the Tunisians who qualified for the last two World Cups.
Etienne, Belgium
I want to advise the Black Stars players not to underestimate the Squirrels of Benin or any of their opponents and they will surely qualify for the World Cup.
Ernestina, Ghana
I expect a very exciting qualifier campaign starting this month. It's not going to be an easy road for all 20 countries but I hope the best of the best will stand out. With that being said, this is the opportunity for Africa as a whole to shine and go further on the world stage like we do in world youth tournament. This is our time!!
Daniel Agyepong, USA/Ghana
Yes South Africa 2010 is counting down, but my question is how prepared are the African countries? This World Cup is a different ball game because it is in African soil can an African team make it to finals that is my major concern we preparations and determination will say.
Ogumere Olisaeloka, Nigeria
I wish to advise fellow Africans that whichever teams make it through finally they must be respected as the current giants of African football and not to disrespect any team as was the case in 2006. After all why should the so-called mighty nations surrender their tickets to so-called minnows involuntarily? I hope at the end of it all the following countries would make it to the world cup based on current form: Egypt, Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria and Ivory Coast.
Kwame Adana, Ghana
I believe Egypt have high hopes this time of reaching the World Cup in South Africa, but I fear that Egypt will lose concentration and the professional players will not be in harmony with other players.
Kareem Besada, Egyptian in Greece
The dream of every football loving country is to be in World Cup and most countries in Africa have big name footballers. I see Togo and Mali causing upsets. Nigeria are underdogs to Tunisia who are favourites but with some newly recruited players in the Nigeria squad they can go through.
Upson Nwanne, Nigerian in South Africa
In this round of qualifiers I think Kenya will surprise the heavyweights in its group, here's my prediction Kenya will win all of its home games, draw with Nigeria and Tunisia away and beat Mozambique away
Samuel, Kenya
If Morocco don't qualify for 2010, I don't think we ever will. Everyone may be tipping Eto'o and Cameroon to advance, but the Atlas Lions are as hungry as ever after a 12 year absence. We have excellent experience in Karkouri, Safri and Ouaddou, coupled with the exceptional young talent of Taarabt, El Hamdaoui, Chamakh and Alloudi. Because of this, I believe we can take at least 4 points from Cameroon, and that will be enough to go to South Africa.
Hicham, UK
I Think Morocco is going to beat Gabon by a large score. Youssef, Belguim
Personally, I think Morocco and Egypt will emerge as the strongest representatives from Africa. For years, morocco has had goalkeeping problems, with Zaza that problem has been solved. I am relishing Morocco v Cameroon.
Youssef, US
You are forgetting about this great country. Imagine Kenya beating Tunisia and Nigeria? Wait and see this Saturday. I beg you to watch this space.
Evans Nyayiemi, Kenya
I am a Moroccan, so of course I support morocco. We are in the group of death with Gabon, Togo and Cameroon. Our coach Roger Lemerre has looked all over Europe to find the best Moroccans and put them in the squad. He has even convinced Tottenham's Adel Taarabt to opt for Morocco above France, which shows that Lemerre really wants the best for Morocco. If Morocco qualifies I will travel from Denmark to South Africa and I will be standing side by side with the other Moroccans who will be in SA and cheer The Atlas Lions to victory.
Essa, Denmark
Nigeria, Cameroon, Egypt, Ivroy Coast and Ghana will qualify It is already written.
Lamine, Gambia
I love my Black Stars and hope they represent Africa but Mali is no joke. The final game in Accra in November will decide who goes to South Africa.
Bright Komeng, Ghanaian in the USA
I would love to see the Ivorian in South Africa 2010. Although they are not the top in the African rankings, I still love their football style. Go Boka, Zokora, Drogba, see you guys in SA.
Bob Wani, Canada
I just cant imagine the Super Eagles not going to South Africa. They just have to win in Maputo to begin with.
Ogaji Ejeh, Nigeria
As long the Indomitable Lions give Togo a good spanking (which they should), I really don't care who loses of wins in the other games. Adebayor's presence will make no difference even if he plays. Go Lions, ROAR!
Achomba, Cameroonian in Johannesburg
I have no hopes, no expectations, and no fear for the Super Eagles at this time. They have not done anything special to raise my blood pressure. I hope they qualify and do well in the tournament but if not so be it.
Azeez Akande, USA
I expect Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon, Nigeria, Egypt and Morocco to represent Africa in South Africa, my fears are I don't want Africa to loose the 2010 World Cup and my prediction is Ivory Coast, Cameroon or Nigeria will reach to the final.
Kabineh B. Kromah, Liberia
I expect Nigeria not just to qualify or struggle to qualify but to play well and at least take 4 points each of the other 3 in their group. Anything short of this, then qualifying for the World Cup itself will be a painful experience next year for them. I would rather have another country get humiliated instead of such temporary joy.
Hakeem Abimbola, UK
Wishing the Super Eagles victory in their match against Mozambique. Vware, Nigeria
The final round of the qualifiers is going to be full of surprises, because some of the African football giants might not make it to South Africa 2010, the so called minnows of African football will spring some surprises as the competition gets stiffer. So countries like Cameroon, Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Tunisia should watch their backs.
David, Nigeria
Nigeria, Ghana, Rgypt, Ivory Coast and Togo are my tips. Kwabena Baah, Ghana
Nigeria will certainly qualify for the World Cup in South Africa, but I expect tough opposition from the other group members.
Nwokeji Cyril, Belgium
I am a Nigerian living in England I am concerned about the Nigeria team which was selected for the World Cup qualifier the team selected have not been performing for their various clubs in Europe. For example Jon Mikel Obi for Chelsea - some defenders selected are very average. My opinion is that Nigeria will struggle in the final qualifying stage.
