Libya name stadium after Chavez

President Chavez is being honoured in Libya
Libya named a football stadium in honour of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on Thursday.

The stadium, in the second city of Benghazi, was opened by Mohamed Gadafi, son of the Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi.

Representatives from the Libya Football Federation also to attended.

The two countries are building closer ties and President Gaddafi is scheduled to meet Chavez in Venezuela in May at a Latin American-African nations summit.
