Uganda won the Cecafa Cup with a 1-0 win over local rivals Kenya in Kampala on Tuesday.

Bryan Omwony scored the only goal of the game in the 16th minute.

It means Uganda have now won the tournament a record 10 times.

The Cranes had sailed through qualifying scoring a host of goals, but Kenya's Harambee Stars put in a strong performance in a game they contested to the end.

Omwony ends the tournament as top scorer with 5 goals in total.

A massive crowd, including many Kenya supporters, turned out for the game.

The final whistle was greeted with wild celebrations by the Uganda fans.

In the earlier play-off match for 3rd place, Tanzania just scraped past Burundi, winning a thrilling game 3-2.
