Uche has been in the starting line-up just twice this season
Nigeria striker Ikechukwu Uche is hopeful of securing a first team place with his Spanish club Getafe, after scoring against Real Madrid at the weekend.
Uche's strike, his second of the season, sealed a 3-1 victory over the La Liga giants.
He came on as a substitute for the eighth time, having been in the starting line-up only twice this season.
"I just have to keep on working hard and training very very hard, and let's see what's going to happen," Uche told BBC Sport.
"All the players can't play at the same time, but everyone wants to play."
"I'm very happy scoring against a big team like Real Madrid, I'm happy not for me but for the team - without them one can't do anything."
Getafe are in twelfth position in La Liga and are away to Villareal on Saturday in their next league match.
