Zambia will have to play their postponed African Under-17 Championship qualifier against Namibia within the country's period of mourning for the late President, Levy Mwanawasa.
The Confederation of African Football (Caf) has set 7 September as the date for the game to be played.
It was due to take place this weekend but was put back because of the death of President Mwanawasa.
The new date is unlikely to please everyone in Zambia as it still falls within the 21-day period of national mourning, which ends on 9 September.
President Mwanawasa, who was the patron of Faz, died in France last week following a stroke.
Zambia are also waiting on a ruling from football's world governing body, Fifa, on whether their 2010 World and Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match with Togo next weekend can be rescheduled.
They have asked for a delay but Fifa has yet to make a decision.
The Chipolopolo squad have just returned from a training camp in Germany.
Coach Herve Renard has urged the team to earn victory over Togo in memory of the late President.
"Winning against Togo can be a very good thing," he said.
"The nation will be proud of us, it'll be good for us to win for him."
