The new coach will initially take charge for two years

Ghana's new international football coach has been officially named in the post.

Milovan Rajevac, a Serbian, has signed a two-year deal with the Black Stars.

The coach said he already knew Ghana's international players.

He is expected to stay in the country for up to three months, getting to know the local contenders for a place in the Ghana squad.

Ghana top their qualifying group for the 2010 World and Nations Cups.

Their next match is a friendly game with Tanzania later this week.

After that they play Libya away from home in a match which could decide the fate of the group before hosting Lesotho in their final group match.
