Egypt striker Mohamed Zidan has joined German side Borussia Dortmund from Bundesliga rivals Hamburg.
The 26-year-old moves to Dortmund in a cash-plus-player deal with Mladen Petric moving in the opposite direction.
Dortmund also received around US$7m in return for the Croatian forward.
"We are pleased to announce the transfer of Mladen Petric to Hamburg, and we wish Mohamed Zidan the best with Dortmund," a Hamburg statement read.
Zidan joined Hamburg from Mainz 05 at the beginning of last season after scoring 13 goals in 15 appearances for the then Bundesliga side.
But he failed to impress at Hamburg, scoring just three times in 21 appearances.
"It's a pity that I had to leave Hamburg so quickly, but I am sure I have made the right decision to join Dortmund," Zidan.
The move reunites Zidan with former coach Jurgen Klopp, who was in charge of Mainz when the Egyptian made his name.
