German Dundee joins AmaZulu

Sean Dundee
Dundee turned down the opportunity to play for South Africa

Former Liverpool and Stuttgart striker Sean Dundee has joined South African premier league campaigners AmaZulu.

The 35-year-old signed a one-year contract with with Usuthu, according to club spokesperson Philani Mabaso.

"I'm glad to be back home in Durban, thanks to AmaZulu giving me an opportunity. I still have a lot of training to do in order get back to my fitness," said Dundee.

The move sees Dundee return to his home town, 16 years after leaving to play in Germany.

He rejected a chance to play for South Africa and while he made the German squad after gaining citizenship in 1996, never won a cap.
