South Africa won their third Cosafa Senior Challenge Cup title by beating Mozambique 2-1 in the final on Sunday in the South African town of Bushbuckridge.
Marcellino Fransch scored in each half, with Mozambique's Gerson Txuma finding a consolation goal in second-half stoppage time.
South Africa won the tournament using a squad of players mostly from their second division, while most of the other teams fielded their strongest-possible sides.
The victory means that South Africa have won the Cosafa Cup three times, as have Angola, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
