Emana joins Real Betis

Spanish club Real Betis have completed the transfer of Cameroon international Achille Emana from French side Toulouse.

The five-year deal is worth US$11.1m.

The 26-year-old midfielder had spent the last seven years in Toulouse.

Emana says that he is "very happy" to finally play in Betis after protracted negotiations lasting several weeks.

He was in the Cameroon squad for the 2008 and 2006 editions of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Real Betis finished in mid-table in the 2007/8 La Liga season.
