Tom Saintfiet replaces Arie Schans (pictured) as Namibia coach
The Namibia Football Association has appointed Belgian Tom Saintfiet as the new Brave Warriors coach.
The 35-year-old takes over from Dutchman Arie Schans, who left the job last week.
Saintfiet is due to arrive in Namibia next week to start work.
Namibia, who surprised many by qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana this year, are currently bottom of Group 2 of the 2010 World and Nations Cups qualifiers.
They have won just one in four matches, however they do still have a mathematical chance of reaching the next stage of the qualifiers.
Next up for the Brave Warriors in the 2010 qualifiers is a trip to play Kenya in September followed a month later by the visit of Zimbabwe.
Saintfiet's last job was in charge of Finnish club Rovaniemen Palloseura, he has also worked with sides in Holland, Ivory Coast, Faroe islands and Germany, but has never coached a senior national team.
