The games between Chad and Sudan will be on a neutral venue
Fifa says that both 2010 World Cup qualifiers between Sudan and Chad will be played at the same neutral venue.
The venue for the Group 10 games is yet to be decided but the matches will be played on 6 and 10 September.
Sudan's home tie had been due to be played on the first weekend in June in Sudan but football's world governing body called the game off because of political tensions between the two countries.
Despite Fifa's ruling the Confederation of African Football threw Chad out of qualifying for the Nations Cup in Angola because they failed to arrive to play the game.
Chad are however still involved in qualifying for the World Cup in South Africa.
Both sides currently have three points from their three games so far, Mali top the group with nine points with Congo three points behind - both the top two have played an extra game.
