Sfaxien part company with coach
CS Sfaxien
Sfaxien have a new coach
Swiss coach Michel Decastel has parted company with Tunisian first division side CS Sfaxien.

"Tunisian Khaled Ben Yahia has been appointed CS Sfaxien's new coach until the end of the season," the club said in a statement.

The 53-year-old's contract had been due to expire next June. He has spent most of his coaching career in Africa.

Speculation is rife that the departure was by mutual consent as a result of Decastel receiving a six-month

touchline ban for his team leaving the pitch during a league game last December.

But Decatsel believed the sanction was unfair and stated his desire to leave Tunisia.

Winner of the last edition of the African Confederations Cup, CS Sfaxien are currently eighth in the league with 23 points after 19 games.
