Rossignol was appointed as the coach of Madagascar in March
Frenchman Jean Paul Rossignol has been sacked as the coach of Madagascar, after just a month in charge.
Rossignol was dismissed after losing his debut match 3-0 to the Ivory Coast in a Nations Cup qualifier last month.
The Malagasy Football Federation said Rossignol was dismissed on government orders.
The defeat left Madagascar with no chance of qualifying for the 2008 finals in Ghana.
Rossingol, who had previously worked for the French Football Federation and in the United Arab Emirates, took charge of the squad in March.
The country play in the Cosafa Cup tournament in Mozambique later this month.
