Reading's Ibrahima Sonko is eligible play for France or Senegal

A proposed friendly between Senegal and Nigeria scheduled for Tuesday in France has been cancelled according to the Senegal Football Association (SFA).
The SFA's administrative director Doudou Sene explained that the Nigeria FA would not sign the contract that had been prepared by the match organisers.
According to Sene the Nigerians were unhappy with some unspecified parts of the contract.
"I believe they are financial, we did everything possible to organise the game, even sending our marketing agent to France to negotiate but it was in vain," he said.
Senegal coach Henry Kasperczak had already named a 25-man squad to prepare for the tie.
His team had included defender Ibrahima Sonko, who plays for the English Premiership side Reading and has been undecided about his international future.
The 25-year-old, whose parents are from Senegal, is still eligible to play for France as he is yet to play an official game for west African country.
He withdrew from the Teranga Lions' 2006 Nations Cup squad to concentrate on his club career, the same reason the 25-year-old pulled out of last month's friendly against Ivory Coast.
Kasperczak had also called up Bolton Wanderers striker El-Hadji Diouf, who is on bail following an alleged assault on his wife Valerie recently.
