Marcello Lippi has rejected the chance to coach Libya

Italy's World Cup winning coach Marcello Lippi turned down an offer from Muammar Gaddafi to manage the Libyan national team.
Lippi insists he only wants a job coaching a club side, which also excludes him from any interest by Mexico.
"He (Libyan leader Gaddafi) wanted me, it's true," Lippi was quoted as
saying by online newspaper www.quotidiano.net.
"I received 10 or so offers after the World Cup from very important federations, but I declined the various
proposals."
"I hope to get a call between February and March 2007 to start studying the particulars of a new adventure with a serious
club, capable of giving me great satisfaction," the 58-year-old Lippi said.
Lippi has been linked with many managerial roles worldwide since stepping down as Italy boss after guiding the country to its fourth World Cup title in July.
