Coach Uli Stielike has called up Salomon Kalou once again
Ivory Coast have made a fresh bid to lure Chelsea's Salomon Kalou to the Elephants by naming him in their squad for next month's friendly with Sweden.
German coach Uli Stielike, who will be taking charge of his second match for Ivory Coast, has named 24 players for the game on 15 November in Le Mans, France.
The Ivorian-born Kalou has previously turned down overtures but the west Africans renewed their efforts after the striker had a bid to obtain Dutch citizenship turned down earlier this year.
Kalou's elder brother Bonaventure has been restored to the squad after being dropped for the 5-0 win over Gabon in an African Nations Cup qualifier earlier this month.
