Injury is likely to keep Nigeria's Nwankwo Kanu out of the starting line-up for Sunday's African Nations Cup qualifier in Lesotho.
Nigeria FA officials said on Saturday that the Portsmouth striker had struggled with fitness in training in Johannesburg this week.
Kanu suffered a hamstring injury while playing in the English Premiership tie against Tottenham on Sunday.
Injury has already ruled out Ukraine-based midfielder Yussuf Ayila and France-based Osaze Odemwingie while a passport issue means John Utaka is also out of the squad.
