Former captain Bonaventure Kalou has been dropped by Ivory Coast for their 2008 African Cup of Nations qualifier at home to Gabon on Sunday.

New coach Uli Stielike said he was leaving out the Paris St Germain striker after he had lost his place in the first team at the French first division club.
Also dropped from Stielike's provisional squad of the 30 players are midfielder Emerse Fae of Nantes, Hamburg SV defender Guy Demel and Le Mans striker Christian Koffi Ndri.
Stielike named three uncapped players in a 20-man squad, goalkeeper Aristide Zogbo and Asec duo Bakary Soro and Didier Ya Konan.
