Morocco to prepare in Holland

Morocco are in Group Twelve of the Nations Cup qualifiers

Morocco coach Mohammed Fakir has named a 26-man squad for a training camp in Holland next month.

The six-day tour, which will start on 2 October, is part of the team's preparation towards the 2008 African Nations Cup qualifiers.

Midfielder Souari Hassan, who joined French side FC Istres from Olympique Khourigba earlier this season, will join the Atlas Lions for the first time.

There were recalls for the Nancy duo of Moncef Zerka and Basser Mechael as well as Jamal Alioui and Mehdi Taouil.

During the tour the Atlas Lions will be playing against local club sides yet to be named.

Morocco are in the three-team Group 12 which means they will not be in action when Malawi host Zimbabwe on the 7 October.
