Sichone returns after a three-year absence
Zambia have recalled Germany-based defender Moses Sichone for next month's Nations Cup qualifier against South Africa.
The 29-year-old, who returns after a three-year absence, is among the 26-man squad invited for the Group 11 game in Lusaka.
Sichone fell out favour in October 2003 after demanding US$5,000 as appearance fee.
Caretaker coach Patrick Phiri also recalled goalkeeper Kalililo Kakonje who was left out of the national team for the Nations Cup in Egypt in January.
"We have called Sichone to come and add his experience," Phiri said.
"This is an important game that requires the services of all our players.
"That is why we also asked Kalililo to come as well so that we can look at him."
Meanwhile, South Africa-based defender Sashi Chalwe, who was part of the team that beat Chad 2-0 in the opening matches of the qualifiers earlier this month, was left out.
