Egyptian striker Hossam Hassan is set to join Tersana after a proposed move to Zamalek fell through.
The 40-year-old, who helped his country win the African Nations Cup this year, has signed a one-year contract.
The Egyptian FA has allowed Hassan to sign after the transfer window closed as special dispensation after two Tersana players died in a car crash.
Hassan signed for Zamalek last month but the deal was cancelled after a change in leadership of the club.
