Guinea have uncapped teenager Bocundji Ca in their 20-man squad for Sunday's African Nations Cup qualifier against Algeria.
Ca was born in Guinea-Bissau
The 19-year-old midfielder, with French club Nantes, was born in neighbouring Guinea-Bissau but has been offered a chance of an international career with Guinea.
Guinea have a history of using family connections to prize players from neighbouring countries, including midfielder Mohamed Sylla, who was born in Ivory Coast, and defender Ibrahima Camara, who hails from Sierra Leone.
But Guinea coach Patrice Neveu dropped Stoke City striker Sambegou Bangoura from the squad which drew 1-1 in a friendly with Cameroon in France on 16 August.
