Zambia will take on Seychelles for a place in the semi-final

Seychelles upset hosts Namibia 4-2 on penalties on Saturday to set up a meeting with Zambia in the Cosafa Cup mini-tournament.
The islanders, who are ranked 141st in world football, won
the shootout after a 1-1 draw to register their first victory in
the annual southern African championship.
Earlier Zambia scored three goals in the last six minutes to
beat Malawi 3-1 at the newly-built stadium in Katatura on the
outskirts of the Namibian capital.
Malawi had taken a 16th-minute lead through Noel Mkhandawire
but Zambia finally forced an equaliser in the 84th minute
through substitute striker Dube Phiri.
A minute later Rainford Kalaba sneaked in to give Zambia the lead and a goal on the break from captain Chris Katongo two minutes after that made sure of the win.
Zambia, twice winners of the event, then watched as Namibia
laboured against a Seychelles side for whom goalkeeper Nelson
Sopha produced an influential performance.
Seychelles took a surprise lead through Wilnes Brutus after
11 minutes but the lead lasted just seven minutes before Costa
Khaiseb equalised.
Sopha made a vital save in the penalty shootout after the game ended 1-1 after 90 minutes before Dennis Belle converted the winning kick to ensure a 4-2 triumph.
Zambia and Seychelles meet on Sunday for a place in the last
four of the regional competition.
Holders Zimbabwe, World Cup finalists Angola and Botswana
are already through to the draw for the semi-finals, to be held
in Windhoek on Sunday.
