Haggui has joined Bayer Leverkusen from Strasbourg
Tunisian international Karim Hagui has joined German Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen from relegated French side Strasbourg.
The 22-year-old defender, who has signed a three year deal is due to join his new team mates at pre-season training on Thursday.
Leverkusen who placed fifth in the Bundesliga last season, released no details about the fee.
Hagui helped his country to victory in the African Nations Cup in 2004 when he moved to Strasbourg but was unable to save the club from relegation at the end of last season.
He was also part of the Tunisia squad at the World Cup in Germany which was eliminated in the first round.
Ukraine qualified for the second round after beating Tunisia 1-0 thanks to a penalty awarded against Haggui over a scuffle with Andriy Shevchenko.
