Moldovan returns as Raja boss
Raja Casablanca
Raja face two key matches over two weeks
Romanian coach Alexandre Moldovan has returned for a third stint as coach of Moroccan club Raja Casablanca.

He replaces Frenchman Henri Stambouli, who departed last week.

Moldovan's second stint in charge ended in mysterious circumstances, as he was sacked in 2002 when Raja were seven points clear at the top of the Moroccan championship.

During his first era in charge, Raja won the Moroccan league title in 1997.

Moldovan will begin his latest spell on Saturday, when Raja face Olympique Khourigba in the Moroccan Throne Cup final.

They subsequently face what could be a defining moment against African champions Enyimba in a Group A Champions League tie on 23 July.

Both teams are yet to win a match in the competition and languish at the bottom with a point each.

Moldovan has also worked at three other Moroccan sides - Wydad Casablanca, Union Sidi Kacem and Maghreb Fes.

His last job was with Tunisian club Olympique Beja, who sacked him in February.
