Tunisia's African Nations Cup hero Francileudo dos Santos has signed for French first division side Toulouse.
The 26-year-old signed a three-year deal on Monday, joining Toulouse from rivals Sochaux.
Last week, the Brazilian-born striker told the French press he was not satisfied with the offer to extend his contract at Sochaux by a further two years.
Santos, whose goals set up Tunisia for their first-ever Nations Cup triumph last year, had an existing contract at Sochaux until June 2006.
He scored nine league goals for them this season as they finished in 10th place.
Santos denied reports he wanted to leave the club because of their failure to qualify for European club competition next season.
"I've been at the club for the last five years and need a change," he said.
His new team Toulouse finished 13th in the league last season, and will not compete in European club competition next season.
Santos has a total of 53 goals in Ligue 1 since joining Sochaux in October 2001.
