Oliech missing for Kenya
Kenya striker Dennis Oliech
Dennis Oliech will miss Kenya's game against Guinea
Dennis Oliech will miss Kenya's 2006 World Cup qualifier away in Guinea on 5 June.

The player's brother Kevin Opiyo told BBC Sport that the striker has a knee injury that means he will miss the match.

"Dennis has a knee injury that he cannot recover from in time for the Guinea game," Opiyo said.

"There is a chance that he will be fit for the game in Nairobi against Morocco on 18 June."

The 20-year-old Oliech, who plays with Qatari club Al Arabi, is the leading scorer in the African qualifying groups with six goals.

Kenya coach Mohammed Kheri said he may consider recalling the Tanzania-based striker John Barasa.

Meanwhile Fifa's Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) has ordered Al Arabi to pay US$15,000 to Kenyan club Mathare United as compensation for the transfer of Oliech in 2003.

The DRC have given Al Arabi 30 days to pay the money to the Kenyan club.
