Ghana began their build-up for their first World Cup finals appearance with a 3-1 victory over Saudi Arabia in a friendly in Riyadh on Monday.
Muntari got Ghana's first goal
Striker Asamoah Gyan netted twice after team mate Sulley Muntari had cancelled out Nawaf Al Temyat's opener for Saudi Arabia, who have also qualified for next year's World Cup in Germany.
The Black Stars were missing the services of two of their leading players, midfielder Michael Essien and captain Stephen Appiah, through illness but the teamwork fostered by their Serbian coach Ratomir Dujkovic eventually shone through.
Saudi Arabia went in front against the run of play in the 36th minute through Al Temyat but Ghana remained unruffled.
Muntari, who plays for Italian club Udinese, fired the equaliser in the 41st minute.
Gyan added a second before halftime and sealed victory with his second goal after 72
