Cameroon's Union Douala defeated Congolese side Cimenterie Lukala 1-0 in Douala on Sunday to qualify for the third round of the Confederation Cup.

The narrow victory left the aggregate scores level at 2-2 but the Cameroonians go through on away goals.

Louis Belinga scored Union Douala's decisive goal after 23 minutes.

In Sunday's other games, Nigeria's Enugu Rangers beat Sony Ela Nguema from Equatorial Guinea 3-1.

After Silvestre Mesaka gave the visitors a lead shortly after half-time, Nduka Ozokwo, Edward Ofere and Anywanwu Nnaemeke replied to register a 4-1 aggregate victory.

In the Ivory Coast, Stella Abidjan turned around a 1-0 first leg deficit against Togolese side AS Douanes to qualify 3-1 on aggregate.

It took Paul Digba just four minutes to level the aggregate scores before Samba Diabate and Arsene Toualy added further goals.

Congolese side St Eloi Lupopo also made it through to the third round, beating Botswana's BDF XI 2-0 thanks to goals from Jeannaot Wisakenge and Mbuyu Twite.
