2129: FULL-TIME Algeria 2-5 Nigeria. The result in Oran ensures that all five of Africa's places at the 2006 World Cup will be decided on the last weekend of qualifiers.

2126: GOAL! Algeria 2-5 Nigeria. Udinese's Christian Obodo is put through by Obafemi Martins to seal the win for Nigeria.

2124: GOAL! Algeria 2-4 Nigeria. Inter Milan's Obafemi Martins controls a corner before firing home his second of the game.

2123: Mezair makes a brilliant stop to push a shot from Martins over the top of his crossbar, after some great work by Kanu.

2115: GOAL! Algeria 2-3 Nigeria. Stephen Makinwa scores for Nigeria after Kanu's enterprise down the wing sets up a chance in a crowded goalmouth and Meazir fails to hold onto captain Joseph Yobo's initial strike at goal.

2113: A bizarre moment for Nigeria as Oruma flicks on a free kick but as the ball heads goalwards it strikes the knee of the onrushing Martins and goes wide of goal.

2111: Marseille's Taye Taiwo hits a tame free kick wide of the Algerian goal as Strasbourg striker Salim Arrache comes on for Algeria.

2109: Obafemi Martins dribbles past a defender rather than pass the ball square and he has a crack at goal but is denied by the outstretched legs of Algerian 'keeper Mezair.

2108: Algeria clear their lines as Nigerian put on the pressure. Algeria then bring on Hocine Achiou and Nwankwo Kanu comes on for the Super Eagles.

2101: A caution for Algeria's Mohamed Fadel Brahami who injures himself in the tackle.

2059: RED CARD! Algeria are now down to ten men too as Karim Ziani is shown the red card.

2058: Obafemi Martins forces a corner but the Nigerians are unable to capitalise and after a weak header the Algerian 'keeper gathers easily.

2052: GOAL! Algeria 2-2 Nigeria. Algeria's Mansour Boutabout fires in a shot from outside the area that gives an out-of-position Enyeama absolutely no chance. The goal that jeopardizes Nigeria's chances of reaching the World Cup finals.

2051: RED CARD! Nigeria are reduced to 10 men as John Utaka is sent off for alleged retaliation but the Algerian seems to exaggerate the incident.

2049: Algeria claim a penalty as Boutabout goes down in the area but the referee is not interested.

2042: GOAL! Algeria 1-2 Nigeria. Algeria burst down the right hand side and slip the ball in for Hamza Yacef to tap in from close range to wake up the home crowd.

2040: Algeria kick off the second-half against Nigeria in Oran.

2019: The first half in Oran ends with Nigeria leading 2-0.

2018: Striker Wilson Oruma fires in a vicious strike that goes past the post as Nigeria look for a third goal.

2013: GOAL! Algeria 0-2 Nigeria. France-based striker John Utaka heads home Stephen Makinwa's chipped cross.

2012: Martins puts a great chance wide and protests furiously that he was pushed as he shot but the Libyan referee Abdelhakim Shelmani waves his appeals away.

2006: A dangerous floated ball into the Nigeria defence is cleared for a corner but Enyeama collects easily from the resultant set piece.

2000: Three successive corners for Algeria but they are competently dealt with by the Nigerian defence.

1955: Algeria get the ball into the back of the net through Hamza Yacef but Boutabout was offside and interfering with play and it does not count.

1950: GOAL! Algeria 0-1 Nigeria. Inter Milan's Obafemi Martins is fouled in the penalty area and picks himself up and sends the goalkeeper the wrong way to give Nigeria the lead.

1943: A cross is whipped in for Algeria but Enyeama collects comfortably.

1941: Algeria's Mansour Boutabout has the first effort on goal but his twist and turn produces a meek shot which is easily saved by Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.

1930: The final 2006 World Cup qualifier of the weekend gets underway in Oran as Algeria play host to Group Four rivals Nigeria.

1930: FULL-TIME Egypt 4-1 Benin.

1923: Egypt's captain Ahmed Hassan races forward on the right and crosses but Emad Meteib is unable to connect with the ball.

1920: GOAL! Egypt 4-1 Benin. Ahmed Hassan crosses for Amr Zaki to head home for his hat-trick to give Egypt a three-goal cushion.

1904: GOAL! Egypt 3-1 Benin. Tottenham striker Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam taps the ball beyond a stranded Rachad Chitou to give Egypt a 3-1 lead.

1900: A powerful right-footed effort from Amr Zaki goes just wide of the Benin goal.

1859: GOAL! Egypt 2-1 Benin. Stephane Sessegnon pulls one back for Benin with a 28 metre free kick.

1845: The second half gets underway in Egypt.

1829: HALF-TIME Egypt 2-0 Benin.

1820: FULL-TIME Ghana 2-0 Uganda. The Black Stars' win means they just need a draw in Cape Verde in their final qualifier to make it to their first ever World Cup. Amidst wild scenes in Kumasi coach Ratomir Dujkovic is carried shoulder high by jubilant fans and captain Stephen Appiah weeps.

1815: With ten minutes left it is becoming a tight midfield battle between Ghana and Uganda.

1812: The match begins to balance out in Kumasi between Ghana and Uganda.

1810 The Egyptians continue to press forward looking for a third goal as the pace of the game begins to drop a little.

1807: Uganda begin to dominate the game but it looks like it might be too little too late.

1801: FULL-TIME Ivory Coast 2-3 Cameroon. The victory for the Indomitable Lions in Abidjan puts them in pole position to reach their fifth consecutive World Cup finals.

1759: Uganda's Vincent Kayizi is replaced by Tony Mwejje.

1757: Uganda's Lawrence Segawa is shown a yellow card.

1757: GOAL Ivory Coast 2-3 Cameroon. A stunning Cameroon long range free kick hits the upright and Webo follows up with a diving header to score his hat-trick and what could be the goal to take them to the World Cup finals.

1755: Chelsea's Michael Essien is replaced by King Faisal Babe's Abubaka Yahuza for Ghana.

1752: Ghana's livewire Michael Essien is down injured game held up.

1750: Makoun's diving header at the near post is just wide as Geremi feeds in another tempting cross from the right hand side. It is Makoun's last effort as he is replaced by Albert Meyong Ze.

1746: GOAL! Egypt 2-0 Benin. Amr Zaki doubles Egypt's advantage when he taps in Traek El Sayed's cross from the left.

1745: Cameroon and Hamburg defender Timothee Atouba is on for Wome for the final quarter hour.

1744: Ghana make a substitution as Kamza Mohamed comes on for Laryea Kingston.

1742: GOAL! Egypt 1-0 Benin. Amr Zaki opens the scoring for Egypt.

1742: The Ivory Coast's Zokora hit the woodwark with a long range shot.

1741: Caneroon's Geremi swings in a cross and Webo claims to be impeded as he goes up for the header but the referee awards a goal kick to the home side.

1736: Uganda's Stephen Nsereko is shown a yellow card.

1736: Aston Villa's Eric Djemba Djemba is on for Solomon Olembe in Cameroon's first change of the game.

1733: Makoun is booked for a wild challenge on Ivorian winger Tiene.

1731: The second half starts in Kumasi and Ghana's Steven Appiah thinks he has scored but the goal is disallowed for offside.

B>1730: The Group Three match in Cairo between Egypt and Benin kicks off.

1727: FULL-TIME Togo 3-0 Liberia. Coubadja Kader scores Togo's third goal with the final kick of the game.

1723: Marseille defender Abdoulaye Meite comes on for Zoro in the Ivorian defence

1722: Eto'o feeds Makoun with a fine pass and the midfielder sneaks in behind the Ivorian defence but wastes the opportunity as he fires over the bar.

1721: HALF-TIME Ghana 2-0 Uganda.

1720: Togo's Adebayor misses out on a third goal as his shot shaves the post.

1718: There is more tension between the players on the pitch in a heated game as Cameroon's Douala upends Ivorian fullback Boka. The Tunisian referee is quick to try and defuse the situation.

1715: There have been two cautions in the opening four minutes of the second half, first to Geremi and the Ivorian substitute Fae.

1715: The game in Ghana is getting very physical with both sides receiving verbal warnings from the Burundi referee.

1714: GOAL! Ivory Coast 2-2 Cameroon. Didier Drogba curls in a superb free kick to equalize for the Ivory Coast against Cameroon. The free kick was given away by Drogba's Chelsea team mate Geremi on the edge of the box.

1711: The second half between the Ivory Coast and Cameroon gets underway.There is a change in the midfield for the hosts as former French junior international Emerse Fae replaces Guel.

1710: The injured Frimpong is substituted with suspected broken ribs, Isaac Boakye comes on in his place.

1708: Uganda's best chance in the half but Noah Kasule's shot is deflected for a throw in.

1704: Ghana's Joe Tex collides with the Uganda goalkeeper as the two go for a 50-50 ball, the Black Stars striker is stretchered off.

1700: There is a mix up in the Ghana defence but a shot by Uganda's by Geofrey Massa too weak.

1700: GOAL! Togo 2-0 Liberia. Togo's Sherif scores a second against Liberia in Lome.

1655: HALF-TIME Ivory Coast 1-2 Cameroon. The crowd in Abidjan, that incudes Chelsea's owner Roman Abramovich and the club's coach Jose Mourinho, have seen an exciting first half.

1654: GOAL Ivory Coast 1-2 Cameroon. The Indomitable Lions' Achille Webo gets his second of the game. Jean Makoun keeps the ball in play on the goal line with the Ivorian defence ball watching and delivers for Webo to head in from point blank range.

1650: The free kick is struck by Etożo into the wall and cleared.

1649: A free kick right on the edge of the Ivorian penalty area is given away by Boka who is also cautioned.

1643: GOAL! Togo 1-0 Liberia. Substitute Sheyi Adebayor gives the home side the lead in Lome over Liberia.

1647: GOAL Ghana 2-0 Uganda. Matthew Amoah doubles the Black Stars lead in Kumasi after a good interchange between him and Frimpong.

1645: GOAL! Ivory Coast 1-1 Cameroon. Chelsea's Didier Drogba gets the equaliser as Dindane strips Wome of the ball goes down the line and feeds in for the giant striker to convert.

1642: An Ivorian free kick from Zokora is headed goalward but Hamidou makes another fine stop in the air, where he has looked commanding throughout the game.

1641:GOAL! Ghana 1-0 Uganda. Africa's most expensive player scores as he connects with a powerful corner from Dan Edusei.

1640: Togo bring Emmanuel 'Sheyi' Adebayor for Olufade who immediately injects some life into the Hawks play.

1638: The second-half in Lome gets underway between Togo and Liberia.

1635: GOAL! Ivory Coast 0-1 Cameroon. Cameroon's Achille Webo gets behind the Ivorian defence and flicks the ball over the 'keeper into the net.

1631: The game in Kumasi kicks off between Ghana and Uganda.

1634: The first booking of the match as Ivorian defender Marc Zoro cautioned for a cynical challenge.

1628: Ivorian strikers Dindane and Bonaventure Kalou produce a swift move that stretches Cameroon's defence but the final touch to Drogba sails over the Chelsea striker's head.

1628: FULL-TIME DR Congo 2-1 Cape Verde. The DR Congo keep alive their slim hopes of qualifying for the 2006 World Cup finals.

1621: The DR Congo have a goal ruled out as the referee decides that Nonda scores from an offside position.

1621: HALF-TIME Togo 0-0 Liberia.

1620: A shot from Siaka Tiene takes a slight deflection for a corner as the Ivorians have their first effort on goal. From the resultant corner the ball is cleared off the line

1615: A long range effort from Samuel Eto'o Fils is comfortably dealt with by Ivorian goalkeeper Gerard Gnanhouan.

1612: The tension on the pitch is already evident as referee Daami has to talk to both sets of players after some furious tackling early on.

1610: Cameroon's defence is breached by Aruna Dindane who gets a square ball across the face of the Indomitable Lion's goal but Didier Drogba is not in place to apply a finishing touch.

1609: The first opportunity of the match falls to the Cameroonians with Raymond Kalla misses a header from a free kick.

1607: The Group Three game between the Ivory Coast and Cameroon kicks off in a packed stadium in Abidjan where the atmosphere is electric

1605: Cape Verde's Carlos Morais misses a chance to equalize from a corner

1600: After the opening 30 minutes Liberia have been playing strongly missing several good chances. But Togo's Kader has also come close with a header from a corner.

1557: FULL-TIME Angola 3-0 Gabon. An easy win for Angola keeps them firmly on course to reach their first ever World Cup finals.

1556: GOAL! Angola 3-0 Gabon. A cross from Arsenio Love is fired home by Jose Ze Kalanga to secure all three points for Angola.

1546: Roma's Shabani Nonda is also guilty of failing to convert a golden opportunity for the DR Congo.

1546: Portsmouth's Lomana LuaLua misses a chance to put the DR Congo further ahead as he volleys wide.

1541: GOAL! DR Congo 2-1 Cape Verde. The DR Congo's Mputu Mabi puts the home side back in the lead in Kinshasa.

1536: As play resumes in Lome Togo's Kader beats two Liberian players but his shot is saved.

1535: Cape Verde kick off the second half against the DR Congo in Kinshasa.

1535: The Gabonese defence is proving stubborn as they prevent Angola from scoring a third goal.

1531: Play is held up in Lome as the Liberia 'keeper and Togo's Kader clash.

1530: Liberia kick off the Group One game against Togo in Lome

1518: Angola are continuing to dominate the game in Luanda against Gabon

1515: HALF-TIME DR Congo 1-1 Cape Verde

1507: The second half starts in Luanda between Angola and Gabon

1453: GOAL! DR Congo 1-1 Cape Verde. Carlos Calo scores from the penalty spot for Cape Verde.

1453: FULL-TIME Zimbabwe 3-1 Gabon. The Zimbabwe players do a lap of honour to celebrate reaching their second consecutive African Cup of Nations finals.

1452: HALF-TIME Angola 2-0 Gabon.

1446: GOAL! Angola 2-0 Gabon. Benfica striker Pedro Mantorras connects with a cross from Akwa to score for Angola in Luanda.

1445: Rwanda should have pulled a goal back but Michel Ndiriragiye heads wide of an empty net.

1436: GOAL! Zimbabwe 3-1 Rwanda. Kawondera crosses the ball and it is not dealt with by the Rwanda defence and Ashley Rambanapasi scores his first goal for Zimbabwe.

1434: GOAL! DR Congo 1-0 Cape Verde. The DR Congo's Cyrille Kitambala Mubiala fires the home side into the lead.

1433: GOAL Angola 1-0 Gabon. An own goal from Gabon's Rene Nsi Akoue after Angola's Mendoza dribbles into the area and shoots against the defender.

1431: Rwanda's BoBo Bola shoots over the Zimbabwe bar.

1425: Angola continue to have the majority of the possession but they are unable to find a break through.

1417: Joel Luphahla shoots just wide as Zimbabwe apply pressure on the Rwandese goal.

1415: Angola dominate the opening exchanges in Luanda but neither side have had any clear chances yet.

1408: There appears to be a handball by an Angolan in his own area and the Gabonese claim a penalty but the referee waves play on.

1406: Rwanda kick off the second-half against Zimbabwe in Harare looking to overturn a 2-1 defecit.

1403: Angola's Pedro Mantorras gets the Group Four game against Gabon in Luanda underway.

1350: HALF-TIME Zimbabwe 2-1 Rwanda.

1345: GOAL! Zimbabwe 2-1 Rwanda. France-based Benjani Mwaruwari fires home from inside the Rwandan area to restore the Warriors' lead.

1333: GOAL! Zimbabwe 1-1 Rwanda. There is a breakdown communication as Zimbabwe's Zvenyika Makonese lobs the ball over his own 'keeper, Energy Murambadoro, and the own goal means Rwanda are level.

1321: Zimbabwe are in control of their game in Harare with Rwanda still to get a single shot on goal.

1310: Mwaruwari beats two Rwandese defenders but shoots wide of the target.

1305: GOAL! Zimbabwe 1-0 Rwanda. The Warriors' Shingirai Kawondera heads home a perfect cross from Benjani Mwaruwari to send the crowd into wild celebrations.

1302: Hosts Zimbabwe kick off against Rwanda in Harare.

1255: There are 55,000 noisy fans in the National stadium in Harare for Zimbabwe's Group Four encounter with Rwanda. The visitors are without five of their overseas-based players.
