Burundi win again
Rwanda's national side
Rwanda drew with hosts Ethiopia at the Cecafa Cup
Burundi went two points clear at the top of Group A of the Cecafa Cup as they beat Tanzania 2-0.

In the other group game on Wednesday, hosts Ethiopia drew 0-0 with Rwanda.

Burundi now have six points from their three games while Ethiopia are in second place, with four points from just two games.

The hosts lead third-placed Rwanda, who have played three games, on goal difference.

Both of Burundi's goals came in the second half with Louis Kubis scoring the first a minute after the break.

Tanzania, whose squad in Ethiopia is made up mainly of under-17 players, were reduced to ten men in the second half when Athumani Idi was shown the red card for elbowing an opponent and then arguing with the referee.

Kubis took advantage of the weakened Tanzanian side when he doubled the lead in the final minute of the game to ensure all three points for Burundi.

Tanzania thus stay bottom of the group, three points adrift of Zanzibar, with both sides having completed two matches.

The action resumes on Friday with two games from Group A as Burundi play Zanzibar and Ethiopia face Tanzania.
